The Floyd family continues leading the industry in custom skiff design and fabrication now located in Edgewater, Florida. After spending the last 10 years operating Islamarine in the Florida Keys, they now offer a more central location in the state to better serve our customers. Brian Floyd
A love for fishing began for Brian as a boy when he would go with his grandfather. He has taken that love and passion with him throughout his career in the boating industry which spans the last 25 years. Brian has done work in assembly, rigging, repair, service, warranty, quality control management, and service management for companies like Everglades Boats, Intrepid Power Boats, Sea Ray and Hells Bay.
His journey led him to the Florida Keys 2010 where he had the opportunity to work at and run Islamarine. This gave him the opportunity to work with fishing guides on their flats skiff and and basically every flats skiff out there. Brian took this knowledge to create the 10wt and start Floyd Skiff Company, with his wife Heidi, to continue to exceed expectations.
